A renovation project doesn't begin with a floor plan.

Before moving a wall, designing a kitchen, or choosing a colour palette, I first need to understand how you live. What already works in your home. What frustrates you every day. The little detours you take without even noticing. The routines that have changed with the arrival of a child, working from home, or simply the passing of time.
Because a home is more than a collection of rooms. It's a place where life happens, and it should evolve with the people who live there.
That belief guides every project I undertake.

It's a time to talk not only about your ideas, but also about your routines, your story, your constraints, your budget, and the life you want your home to support.
I pay particular attention to the things people don't always think to mention—the everyday frustrations, the compromises you've learned to live with, or needs you've never taken the time to put into words.
Those are often where the best design solutions begin.

The journey that shaped this approach
If I enjoy observing the way people live in and move through a space, it's probably because I've been doing it for much of my life—long before I realised it.
Theatre taught me to observe how bodies occupy a stage.
Stage combat and theatrical fencing showed me the importance of movement, distance, and spatial relationships.
Historical reenactment sharpened my attention to detail and techniques.
Teaching developed the listening skills and careful observation needed to support each person according to their individual needs.
Then, for fifteen years, I designed websites with the same mindset: understanding how people use something before deciding how to build it. My work was as much about making life easier for visitors as it was about simplifying things for my clients behind the scenes.
In 2021, an unfinished family renovation project led to a simple realisation: this way of thinking could be applied to homes as well.
I began training in interior architecture at H.O.M.E., whose human-centred approach perfectly matched my own philosophy. Applying this method to the renovation of our own home, I discovered that everything I had learned throughout my career finally came together in a single profession.
Today, I continue my training while helping homeowners create renovations that truly improve the way they live.
